- I serve a magnificent God. I also have a constant and unquenchable yearning to write. Recently, God has put it on my heart to combine the two, to some extent.
- I've begun to feel that He desires the time I spend in scripture to be more interactive. More accountable. More diligent.
- I've found in my walk with Christ that I'm all too prone to push reading the Bible aside until I wonder why my life has dried up spiritually. If I'm in the Word, my walk with Jesus grows and flourishes. If I'm not, it withers and stagnates.
The verse out of Matthew is what God put on my heart when the idea of this blog first hit me: If I'm in the Word, He'll be speaking to me thoughts that are worth sharing. If I'm not, there won't be much of anything useful to say.
- So this is a place where I will enter in, daily, the thoughts my Creator is revealing to me through His perfect word. Some days it may be lengthy, others it may be simply a direct quote of a single verse. The important thing is that Jesus Christ is proclaimed here.
